Position Summary
Our day camps focus on developing the fundamental basketball skills and character of each camper. Each session, the camp will be broken down into teams of 6 to 7 campers. You will be responsible for guiding your team as it transitions between activities throughout the day. Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to assist the MLLS coaching staff while they instruct your team in basketball drills.
Major Responsibilities
- Help campers on your assigned team during daily activities
- Referee games played by your assigned team
- Facilitate orderly rotations during drill stations
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Knowledge and experience with working with kids
- Passion and ability to teach fundamental basketball
Experience Needed
At least one year of playing experience in organized basketball at any level.
Dates and Hours
You may work at any of the four Day Camp sessions from June 21 - July 15. Day Camp sessions will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Mondays to Thursdays. You will be required to be at the camp facilities 30 minutes before and after camp hours for staff meetings, setup and cleanup.
